In the summer you can enjoy the beauty of the mountians. There are 6 public lakes within 15 minutes of the Lodge. As well as the poudre river which is about 20 minutes away. Also every friday and saturday night you can boogie with the locals with live music at one of the resturants within 20 min.
FALL
In the fall you can enjoy the beautiful changing colors while taking a hike at one of the close trailheads. Also you can hunt in the backwoods for dear or elk. Call the state of Colorado fish and game for more info (303) 397-1192. The cooler weather makes the fishing that much better.
WINTER
The white wonderland of winter will leave any person breathless for a minute. There is ice fishing, snow mobiling, and cross country skiing. At Beaver Meadows they have a sleigh ride and ice skating ponds. Spend the perfect white christmas in the quiet mountians.
